Santa’s Stuck a 3-D May May Made it re-do (kinda)

In this video tutorial I will show you how to build a 3D chimney for Santa. I still used the small tea lights to give the illusion of a fire burning.

To place Santa into the chimney I had to cut part of the top of the legs off, Leaving the bottom and boots. Since this is a little bigger than the last version I made, I had to use care when placing it inside the snow globe.

I used both E6000 as well as hot glue (which just holds things in place until the E6000 dries). Every thing else is pretty much the same as the the first version

Published!!!! and a dominoe project!

Above are the dominoes for the LSH swap. I used my accucut craft die to make the presentation. There are two dominoes on the front and two on the back. These are attached with low tack glue dots.

An Art Journal

Hello Friends!

It is hard to believe it is already November 1st. How this year has flown by.

Just like many of you I am so looking forward to the Holiday season. In the midst of beginning the process of making Holiday cards and gifts for close family and friends, I must admit that I also have another large project to complete.

As a member of the Chemo-Angel’s group, we are given a birthday list toward the end of the month. I have been making cards for this venture as well. If you would like more information, please email me at Ms.Rhetta @gmail.com and I’ll be happy to give you the references to join us!

I hope you’ll enjoy this video slide show of the project I made for Candace. It is based upon the Donna Downey style. of art journals. I kept the inclusions simple and used 110# weight Georgia Pacific card stock along with some file folders and uncoated canvas pages. I have permission to post this, as it has not gone postal yet.

May May Made it Design Challenge! Video Tutorial and pictures!

I have been looking forward to this package for sometime now. I had no idea how stinkin cute everything would be. Click here for her site.

The challenge was to use the contents of the package to make a card or other project and add one thing from your stash. The papers are carefully coordinated making my job of coming up with a design easy.

I hope you will enjoy the process of this card, I decided to do a video tutorial for you guys. I’m still getting used to the new video camera and am getting closer to a better “end” product.

Santa’s stuck and some one lit a fire!!! MayMay made it stamps!!

Talk about fun, this project is so stinkin cute, you’ll want to try it for yourself! Go visit May May’s blog/ store to buy your own set of stamps!

Not only did Santa get stuck, but when he started a slippin and a sliding on the ice some one had lit a fire in the chimney…. hot pants!

For this project you will need a snow globe (Michael’s, Joanne’s, etc.) a sharp pair of scissors, a tea light, the stamps mentioned above and some time.

The project is not difficult, but it takes a little time for everything to set up and gel. To keep the tea light in place, I used hot glue, E6000 and even some crystal accents, a few clamps and a bunch of patience and I finally got this project finished.

I finished up the bottom with some ribbon I had on hand. Please send me an email with a picture to ms.rhetta @gmail.com if you try this project for yourself. I’ll put your creation here on my personal blog!

The chunky glitter is from Twinklet’s “diamond Dust” . The blue glitter is called waterfall and it is by Sparkle and Sprinkle.
