I have been creating cards for the card ministry at our church. Read this post about my recovery from being a Southern Baptist (tongue in cheek here, so just relax).
I had such a great time making these simple cards. They offer a punch of texture and color by just changing up a few stamps and dies. Stamps are from Simon Says Stamp, the cloud die can also be purchased here.
Please send me happy mail! Loretta Rodger PO BOX 1262 Albertville,AL 35950
I tried to get many different angles of this adorable tag. For one thing the heart toward the bottom right is actually a shaker element. I made it by using two stitched heart dies from My Favorite things. I used the packaging from some other dies I had in my collection for the acetate window. You can see through the heart to the otherside showcasing just how versatile this project is.
To finish the edge of the tags, I cut strips of cardstock to cover up the pop dots. Thus finishing off the tag. For the pink heart, it is cut from a scrap of acetate and then I added dimension using some snow tex I had left over from my Christmas crafting which I died with a pink reinker. The small boy do is form Prima.

Time does not heal all wounds. It does allow us the opportunity to move on with our lives and be thankful for the here and now.
John 14:6 “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” We should not fear death. Rather remember it is the beginning of a life eternal with Christ.
If you would like to view the original post regarding my sister’s death click here. She was 42. She died on her 42nd birthday. She doesn’t know she has two grand children fathered by two separate men. It is on a day like this I wish our prayer and efforts to raise that child would have panned out. Instead of having two children, she would have two years of college under her belt.
I sometimes wonder “what if”. However, I know in my heart even back 9 years ago that my sister didn’t stand a chance. She became yet another “victim” in a string of unfortunate souls that died as a direct result of their bad decisions. Fentanyl poisoning along with street drugs, and bad lifestyle choices ended her life. There was nothing I could do. It is hard to remember that the choices of others will affect us adversely.
I want to remind you of that incase your current decisions will ultimately end with the termination of your life. If you are struggling with substance abuse, please click here to find out more about breaking those bonds. If you feel there is no hope and no other way out other than to end your own life, I beg you, Call 1-800-273-8255 or visit: https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/
I love and miss you my dear little sister until we meet again….
I’m pretty certain this is the most 2 1/2″ X 3 1/2″ cards (basically ATC or Artist Trading card) size cards. The cards are for our local Hospice. Each month volunteers or groups of volunteers make a small craft for the patients in our care. In total, I have created 110 of these cards. There will be a small heart shaped stress ball in each package.
I was reminded of days past when we would make or buy the small valentines for our grade school classmates. Remember how much fun that was? I found the small doily die from Your Next Stamp . I cut these from white and red (Michaels Arts and Crafts type) cardstock. The base layer of the cards was made from Kraft card stock purchased from Hobby Lobby.
The bolsters (fancy pop dots) came from my friend Judy Morrow. Please let her know that you heard about her store and products from me.
Ivy Marino is the winner of the stamp/die give away. Please note, if you want a greater chance of winning my giveaways, tag me on your social media and share my blog posts/videos on those platforms as well.
The next giveaway prize will be announced in a couple of days. I hope you will encourage folks to follow me on Social Media, subscribe to my YouTube channel and I wish you good luck with future prize packages. Stamp Happy and be a blessing …until next time! 🙂
I am happy to report that my ScrapRack from Totally-Tiffany is finally here. It arrived very late in the day on Friday. I have pretty much spent most of my waking moments over the last several days getting it set up. The picture of the room all clean was taken before I went off the deep end and started this process.
Frankly, I was tired of not being able to find what I want. This solution pretty much will solve most of that problem. I will still have some stamp/die sets in boxes but those are already set up and categorized by theme and manufacture.
I hope to get my main work station completely cleaned up. Here is a brief video of how things looked on Friday.
Have a great week everyone! Stamp happy and be a blessing! Until next time………
