Today’s RCAD should have been 5, but I didn’t think it fair to call it #5.  I threw away RCAD #5 (or try at one) and started over in a completely different direction. 

 

I hope you will enjoy the video and I will show pictures again when the piece is completely dry.  I added a coat of glossy accents over he main pieces to finish it.

Got to admit, this isn’t my favorite, it is a bit busy, I tried to tone things down with some shadows and not really sure if the butterfly will be staying there., chances are, it is not.

 

I’ve enjoyed some crafty time today and will be getting my new stove tomorrow!  Yay!  I’m sure I’ll have many years of great meals!

Happy Wednesday!

 

  It has been yet another beautiful day!  I am so thankful to be able to get out of doors and enjoy the weather.  In today’s adventures I went to our small international market.

  This market has the best produce in town, it is inexpensive and easy to navigate.  If you are a “big box” grocery store type of person, you may not like this store.  It is a converted old grocery store, it doesn’t have the best lighting and the floors are not all shiny.  It is a simple market, with simple prices and yummy produce.

 

  I restocked our refrigerator with the yummy goodness and I am sure we will enjoy those!

 

 Not only have I now learned a bit more about trimming out scenes or parts of scenes that do not need to be in the video, but I managed to flip the video itself so that it is right side up for you guys.  I love when I figure out new things.

 

 

  I hope you will give these Art cards a chance.  This one took me nearly 2 hours to complete all total.  I should take my own advice and let go of some of the perfectionism.

RCAD #2

  I’m so excited about this RCAD, not because it is necessarily all that great, but because I finally figured out how to successfully use the “trim” tool on the Windows movie maker.

   One important lesson I have taken away is, that the trim tool is measured (start and finish) by seconds, not minutes.  No wonder I couldn’t get it to work in past attempts.

  I hope to do more RCAD’s.  I can see why they are so addictive.  Now it’s time to clean up my craft area and take care of a few on-line swaps.

My first Rolodex card a day.
