Please forgive the briefness of this post. I am gearing up for a big day tomorrow. I still need to bring some “emergency supplies” (tape, scissors, glue, chargers, extension cord) . After a few months of preparations I didn’t know if I had made enough “stuff”.
I had enough to need to purchase a second table at the show. Yay me, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed at this second, but a good hot bath, glass of wine and a good night sleep promise to open tomorrow for success.
One of my favorite things about this show is it has a purpose. Proceeds will go to local children at Christmas who would otherwise not have any gifts.
Today I am revisiting a previous craft fair idea. In the first video I used a template from Deb Valder who provides a great tutorial for covering these tiny coffee cups with patterned paper.
These are perfect for shower gifts, craft fairs and other civic events.
I used patterned paper from Wild about plaid (purchased from Hobby Lobby), The dies for the project come from
The stamp doctor. Use coupon code :LRCOFFEE for 205 off your order from July 16, 2018 until July 31, 2018.
Hello my friends. The video series of my KonMari inspired craft room series continues. Today I am putting this post in with the series, because this is where I am. I have filmed and edited many videos for the series filmed over the last few days. I reclaimed my space for the time being and will focus on the craft fair items again over the next week.
Today’s tip, Those bins. Large bins, small bins it doesn’t matter if the bin is a box or a plastic garbage bag. Just make sure you have some on hand so you can quickly macro (sort into larger categories) then have a bin for things that just don’t belong. I have a tote filled to the brim with things like wax paper. Which I do use in my craft room. However, their home still needs to be the kitchen. Reducing stuff = reducing clutter.
There is a larger bin of things I need to weed through, find a home for or even donate, trash or sell. Remember, be fast and furious. Do not over think. If your item doesn’t provide joy or serve a purpose, its time to thank it for the service it provided in your life and let it go.
Have a great day everyone! If you have questions, please let me know. Send an email or leave a comment down below. Until next time… stamp happy and be a blessing!
A label maker is your best friend! I use a brother p-touch.You can purchase this through my Affiliate link here.
I do think the refills on Amazon for the tape are more expensive than the generic kind sold on Ebay. Most label makers will tell you what type of the tape they take. These versatile little machines make life and organizing a joy.
The pictures are out of sequence and for that I offer my sincere apologies.
The first picture is a current look at the floor behind my desk. A majority of these items were on the counter. I honestly just swiped them onto the floor. A mass majority of this is actually trash. Paper trash, old mail, empty containers a plate and a spoon. (Hey don’t ask, I had the munchies… lol)
The second thing that is critical for your craft room organization are high quality thick plastic trash bags. It is amazing to me how much packaging I’ve managed to hang onto with the precept of “I can use this for a paint pallet” or “This packaging would be great to make a ghost shape since its clear plastic”. Yes save a few especially if you have an upcoming project in mind. Otherwise. Well… there’s a trash bag for that.
The last picture represents a current (7/11/2018) pile of crap on the floor behind my desk. It is best to have some clear surfaces. I actually plan to grab a pillow and sit on the floor to sort the crap out. It is important that as you work, you try to have at least one or two areas completely clutter and crap free.

Main desk top cleaned up. The rolling cart still needs to be done. Starting with a clean surface just helps your personal stress level. The floor looks like the picture below.
