Once again this drawing was alot of fun, I put all the names into a container and drew this one myself. My sweet hubby thought I was nuts, but was too busy working to be able to take a picture for me!
Erika; please email me at ms.rhetta@verizon.net and I’ll get your goodies out hopefully by Monday.
Every time someone posted that is how many times I put your name into my container I tried to make it as fair as possible. I think all of you sweet folks are winners! I adore getting the comments.
Ok — what do I do? I accidently deleted 7 posts, if your’s came back to you, would you please post your comment again. I had already put the names in a hat when I got distracted and found them rejected. Oh I feel terrible. Is there a way I can recover them?!

This is a cute fun fold bag, it makes good use of that fab-o score pal I bought a while back. I’ve used it alot and really love having it. It is a nifty little tool.
Blog candy will begin again mid September. Hopefully you’ll still read and comment on the blog!
Well, you can kinda see the haircut, I’ll have my DH take a picture later on when I’ve had a chance to wash and ‘girl up’ that mess later on!
The cute little french fry box and cow are both new dies from sizzix, you can see all the great new things they have by clicking here! I absolutely adore the new XL dies I so have to have the exclusive ones from Stampin Up, hey you should see my list!
(Think of me when it comes to that extra special gift giving — lol).
Here are a few of the projects I’ve been working on, aren’t they fun!
See the descriptions for these great projects below!
*********************************************
Top, french fry box with cow sizzix dies, filled with mini cow tails, next (in the middle) is an altered jar filled with shrinky dink plastic shapes, then on the bottom is a small lunch pain, I totally destroyed this one, I removed the handle and the back hinges so you simply lift the lid right off, it is for my new little sis on SCS, its filled with prima’s! You can’t see the little butterfly but there is one on the top left corner, I also used butterfly scrap paper to cover it, I simply used a watered down gold paint to glaze it.
Tomorrow is the drawing for blog candy! It will probally be tomorrow night around this time, so get those posts in!
I hope you are all enjoying the blog. Thank you everyone who have left such wonderful and encouraging comments, I appreciate knowing that this is a fun place to visit!
Isn’t this a pretty mini card? It measures 3X3″ finished.
I used some more of the shrinky dink plastic to do the butterflies. I just love the color combinations.
Today I will be workin gon some altered art projects. I have a small hand sander and a bunch of tins I picked up for really cheap (Some as cheap as 34 cents!) I’ll sand them down and doctor them up!
It is so nice here today in Maryland, the beginning of fall in the air, the house is open and the curtains are gently ruffled by a nice breeze. I can just hear my power bill going ahhh!
I am a member of the BRAK (birthday rak) thread on Splitcoast, I really love this opportunity. I had like 21 assignments and am about 1/2 way through them. The card above is going to one of the September birthdays!
I used shrinky dink plastic for the butterflies, and I had a friend to locate the 2″ scallop punch (just like stampin up’) to use as a layering piece for the butterfly. To be sure the butterfly doesn’t go anywhere a dab of E6000 glue took care of any potential probems.
This is a long and skinny cut card, it still measures 5 1/2 X 4 1/4″ finished but is turned so it opens from the left hand side and is layered accordingly. The decorative papers are from DCSW paper packs, I just love all the pretty colors and of course, the sparkle!
So sorry I’ve been MIA the last few days. Just like alot of you guys, I used my share of the 40% off everything coupons. I did spend a bit more than planned, but alot of Christmas Presents are now accounted for as well.
I’ll be fihnishing up the first half of the birthday raks this afternoon and start working on my first little sister gift.
I have found some great bargins for myself as well, I love prima’s and restocked those, I restocked papaers, Dies, umm I could go on here, but you get the idea.
The beautiful baby tin went postal today. I spent some time once again looking for “29 waist 32” length kaki mens pants,to no avail. I visited two Wal-marts and a Target. If you come accross any, please let me know.
While I was out I also visited a Michaels and Joann’s. Gotta love that goof 40% entire purchase coupon.
As you can see, I have upped the blog candy, I’m offering up a My Favorite Things set and 6 new dollar stamps. These are very nice and I’ sure whoever wins the candy will be pleased with them.
I need to check my post(s) for August and be sure I have all my ducks in a row and I will also be creating either a gift box or tin for the goodies to go in (if they fit) along with some other goodies, so stay tuned!
Here is another picture of Lurray caverns in Virginia. I’m telling you folks it is worth the drive and the $19.00 a person to go. You will leave filling true awe.

I hope Mary Dawn is reading todays blog, girl I think I need your help again!
On another note again, I took a few minuts to paper myself. I had my eyebrows waxed (lets face it I could have smuggled small squirrells in them they where that bad) and I finally broke down and had my nails done. So I get to blame the new longer nails for any typo’s — at least for now!
A few days ago I got a haircut for the first time in over a year. Watch for pictures, I’ll update that horrid profile picture soon!
Stamp Happy! I look forward to hearing from all of you!
