As you can see my blog mascot has turned into a fairy princess! I found this adorable fairy outfit at my local craft store on sale and bought it for Elizabeth. I made her magic wand from a a long skinny dowel. The star is cut from holographic paper from Crayola. You may not be able to see in the picture, but I also embossed the star.
***
Her head band was pretty plain so I used a butterfly clip a friend gave me to embellish it. The ribbon on the wand is from my stash and is embellished with jewels, also from the craft store. The entire project only took me about 10 minutes to complete.

I was very encouraged by Amanda’sHalloween goodies that I made a few of my own. She had a bit more detail than do mine, but it was my first try at making these adorable book place keepers. I am looking forward to some more fun projects.

The bug one I made from left over materials from making the spinner never ending cards. I have completed three of the cards and have three more to complete. I am participating in a swap on splitcoast and am so glad they aren’t due to my hostess until late November!

I hope every one had a great day. My Meade girlfriends are participating in a Shoe box swap in Baltimore, Maryland today. Unfortunately, I had previous plans that exempted me from all the fun! I am looking forward to seeing all the great cards and projects they where able to complete!

I hope you enjoyed today’s projects! Remember blog candy continues until September 10, which is my second blog anniversary. In the pot are $25.00, an altered pie box filled with goodies, rub on alphabet letters and chip board tags. Leave comments any where on the blog for your chance to win!
This is the third flip and the back, yes the spinner works!
Hi Crafty people!
I really enjoy making never ending cards!
I am enjoying a card swap on Splitcoast stampers called movers and shakers, I am planning to do five more of this type of card. I also plan to do them all a bit different from the one before.
I added many elements to this project to include more dimension, fun embellishments and moving pieces!
Read this part carefully! There is as of today a change in blog candy. Don’t worry as of right now there is $25.00 and an altered item in the candy pot, I am changing the date for the drawing to September 10. Why you ask? That is my second blog anniversary and I’m celebrating by giving you goodies!
Today’s addition to blog candy is a surprise, you’ll have some metal goodies for you to enjoy!
Before I get to this project, I want to thank Mary for this blogger award:
I also got the same award from Vicki. Thank you so much ladies!
To accept this award I had to do a few things:
First I needed to thank the person who nominated me for this award and include a link to her blog, which I have already done above.
Then I need to list seven things about me that people might find interesting and then nominate seven KreativBloggers, posting links to the seven blogs that I nominate, and then leave comments on all seven blogs letting them know I nominated them.
So, here are the seven (hopefully) interesting things about me:
Dawn: Great video tutorials! Malisa’s: She has fun projects here as well as step by step instructions!

Now onto today’s project. This little bug is a Hampton Arts Studio stamp, I stamped him three times, twice on acetate (a transparency) and embossed with black embossing powder, and once onto green card stock. Also embossed.

Using crystal lacquer, I attached the card stock layer to the bugs body and layered everything on top. It is also the “glue” used to attach the google eyes.

The entire project took about 4 minutes to complete, you can do a bunch of them in a short amount of time. Now to think of a price point, since I would like to sell these.

Have a great evening, and think out side of the box and the card, make something 3 dimensional!
Today’s project is very easy and straight forward.
***
I used an acrylic photo frame that measures 3 X 5″ purchased fro my local craft store, I layered the patterned paper inside. Then on top I placed an extra large prima flower which I used stickles to embellish then the sticky note is attached with red-line tape. It is simply finished with green dew drops and a pretty blue stitched ribbon.
*****
For the card, I followed a simple grid pattern to create what I feel is a really pretty card. Instead of my cherry blossoms being pink, I turned them blue. I simply used my regular water based ink markers to color directly onto the rubber. Then I used my spellbinders dies to cut out the two scallops. All of the edges are sponged with a Stamping up ballet blue ink. Of course it is also embellished with stickles! Don’t forget blog candy continues!
Don’t you just love this? I actually bought the pie die from this web sight, click here.

I also used the Sizzix Cupcake & Ice Cream die (38-0998) that is retired. If you own this die or would like some cup cakes and ice cream die cuts, they are free, just tell me colors or send materials and I’ll gladly cut them for FREE. Just pay for return shipping. Email information is on my side bar so just drop me a line if you are interested.

What do you guys think about a ‘kit’ club. Basically I would chose one to three projects and feature them on the blog. I all you would need to do is send me your mailing information and I would send you off a kit. The kits will not be exact duplicates of what I show on the blog just due to supply limitations. If you need more than just one kit for doing goodies for an event, just let me know and I’ll quote you a price and customize to your needs. Donations will be appreciated but not necessary. Lets face it it will only cost a couple of postage stamps. Please leave feedback for this idea via the comment section and email.
*****
Edit! After the already over whelming feedback and emails, I will offer this as my first kit of the month, if you want the supplies to make this for yourself, send me a self addressed stamped envelope, email me for the address! Sorry for the quality of the video, #1 Chad (aka camera guy) wasn’t in the mood to shoot it and #2 I forgot to turn on my “studio” lights. I hope you get the idea anyway. I promice the next one will be better.

I finally heard from my Airman Craig today. Several factors, mainly he is a bit un-organized and couldn’t find his cell phone charger. He apparently finally found it after tidying up his area. I’m thinking he needs to stay active duty for a while and remember the basics from basic training!

One of these boxes filled with goodies is now part of blog candy. It will be similar to the one pictured above. So that is one pie box and $25.00 blog candy at current.

I hope every one is enjoying a beautiful day. Stamp Happy!
