Flowers a plenty lots of pictures!!

Hello my friends and fellow crafters! What fun I’ve had. I have seen flowers made from used dryer sheets a few years ago and sorta forgot all about them. Then a friend sent me a link to a video where Beate J. made them. She used her spellbinder’s dies to cut the shapes.

Inspired by her video and in need of cleaning up the floor in the laundry room. I went in and drug out as many used dryer sheets as I was able. You see the trash can in the laundry room is for entirely non-food items, and we recycle as much as we can. So off the top of the bin they came. Still smelling “June” fresh.

We have enjoyed a quiet Father’s day and are looking forward to some smoked BBQ chicken. On if you had smell-o-vision on your computer you’d be drooling.

I hope you will give flowers like these a try. I made these as a hostess gift for a local Stamp/scrap store that I plan to take a class at on Tuesday.

Chad makes a card

Who says a guy can’t craft? Before you ask the question, Chad is 6’4″ tall and weighs 145 pounds. He is currently single and looking for just the right girl.

His interest include hours of computer gaming, Wii, Swimming, bike ridding and last but by no means least he is an excellent student.

Chad and I had a wonderful time making this father’s day card for Mike. I was not privileged to see the inside, I only helped to cut layers. The only thing I did with the card was to color the image. If you look at the kids fingers above, you can probably see why…

It was a great time to do something together. Chad is planning to gift Mike a new watch but it has not arrived quiet yet.

The wedding of Michael and Julie Rodger

The wedding of Michael and Julie was so perfect. Even though it was a very hot day here in southern Maryland there was a nice breeze.

Julie’s wedding planner did a super awesome job with everything. The decor was perfect, the food was delicious and most importantly every one really had a great time.

It was so nice to dance with my husband. it has been a while. We haven’t forgotten how and my dress was perfect for “spinning”. There was a variety of wonderful beverages.

Loretta the Space Cadet!

I am a complete and total spaz. I have been running around with like a chicken with its head cut off. I have actually personally watched what happens when a cruel man (My father) hung a chicken upside down on the clothes line for an hour or so, to only cut it down and cut it’s head off with a sharp pocket knife. Gross I assure you. Could never eat the Fried Chicken for a long time after that.

Our family joyfully celebrates the union of Mike and Julie who where wed on Saturday. Between showers, pre-wedding and post-wedding things, it has been super busy.

So please forgive me for a re-peate picture. But on that note, it is just one more reason I love Queen Kat and the stamps, people and designers. There is something for everyone!

How exciting, I have absolutely loved the Wild Orchid flowers for the last two years. You see as a result of one person and her bulling, I found out who my true friends really where. That gives me great joy. During this process of re-evaluating myself more importantly how I treat and act around and toward others is an important. People will forget many things but how you make them feel they will never forget.

This was also the point while watching some amazing You Tube channels that I discovered two wonderful ning groups. I belong to several that I keep up with trends, products and wonderful tutorials but I have two that I am truly committed too.

The first is Your Paper Pantry, it is a $12.00 annual membership fee. Yup, ONE Dollar a month. Well worth it. There are so many truly amazingly creative people there. So many swaps so much to do and learn!

I host the Cutting Room floor swap and this month I also am hosting the stach diet challenge. We are making cards and book marks to give to a local senior center.

The second is My Scrap room. Also very talented folks very talented artists. Many swaps and fun things to do in this group as well.

When I saw the design team call, I had to go for it, so above is my submission. Hopefully the organization will announce the winner’s today.
