Mixed Media tag and You Tube Subbie give away!

Hello everyone!

I hope to have a give away video up tomorrow, so please stay tuned for that information. At last count I only needed 3 or 4 more subscribers to reach the 600 mark! Super excited!

As many of you know, from my last blog post, we got to FINALLY meet the Maxter. What a joy this little guy is to us!

I have finally had an opportunity (shocking I know) to upload a You Tube video with face time for you guys. I hope you will enjoy it.

I did a bit of shopping during our recent trip and really enjoyed the stores in and around the San Diego, CA area. I may be teaching classes at the Stamping Addict on our next trip.

I also did a bit of on-line shopping at My Favorite Things. I am in love with the various steel rule dies from all manufactures.

Move over Gerber Baby!

Isn’t this the most precious, dare I say smartest, most adorable baby ever? Of course I am bias, he is our first Grand One. He may be our only Grand one. His name is Max and we are head over heels in love with this guy!

He is super! For the most part he is a very happy baby, and healthy. At 14# this six month old is on his way to greatness. He takes after his handsome grandpa.

More on our trip to San Diego, CA along with some haulage pictures from there as well as some on line shopping will be filmed soon.

Ok everyone, I have a wonderful 12X12 layout for you to try. I really like the circle as the focal point. I plan to use this idea. Instead of using the basic square for the background I plan to use a round one. How exciting is that? I just ordered the grand nesability dies by spellbinders. The other two ladies in our mini hop have some exciting things to share.

Here is a little eye candy for you to enjoy. It is a standard ATC and uses my (classic I know) shrink plastic butterfly. The small hearts are also shrinky dinks. Thanks for your patience with this post. It was a great example of how the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Stamp happy and be a blessing!

Happy Anniversary! Celebrating 12 years of Marriage

Hello friends!

What a beautiful day it is here in Southern Maryland. It is hard to believe that this warm weather will turn to very bitter cold and snow by tomorrow night.

As for today, we will enjoy the warm sunshine, and sweet memories.

Today marks the 12th Anniversary of my husband Michael and I. It may be the date that legally bound us together as husband and wife, however our hearts where knit together long before this date.

We have seen great joys, and have had our share of sorrows. We have lost dear friends along the way. We have lost his Brother, Brian, My father, Walter and my sister, Barbara. We have mourned the loss of our sweet fur baby Lexie. All memories sweet in their own way and a precious reminder that in the big scene of things we are but a small part of this big world.

The statistics are against second marriages. Nearly 67% of them end in divorce. A sobering fact that is not lost on Michael and I. Why do I think our marriage is so special that it can survive. That answer is very simple. We gave our marriage to Christ before we ever said our “I DO”! Even when things are difficult, or we don’t like what has been placed in our path, it is our responsibility dare I say duty to move on, work together and show not only those around us, but the world in general that our Marriage is strong, blessed and most importantly cherished.

We have seen some wonderful and fun times through the years. Every thing from the antics of the two younger kids to the joys of watching the oldest of his two children start a family of her own.

To know we have and will be there to support and love them. The sadness of knowing one of the four will never allowed in our home again.

So I raise my prayer, and Praise the Lord for the blessing of a Godly man of great character, commitment and love! Happy Anniversary Michael. May we share 30 years or even more.

Enjoy this long weekend. May you make time every day to do something that makes you happy and brings you joy. Stamp Happy and be a blessing!
