Wednesday! Some Pop-tastic and chocolate treats!
Happy Wednesday!
Look what I’ve been up too!
Wouldn’t you know it, for the third round of DSS (devine secret sisters) my little sis loves salty, crunchy snacks. I thought Umm, what to do. Then I remembered I had this cute Stamp from Stamps by Judith. Check her websight out here. I stamped the image using brilliance Black ink onto a super nice white card base, then trimmed. I colored the popcorn and box using the copic markers. I then added liquid applique and using my pokey tool made sure it was pretty ‘broken’ up before applying heat. You can really see the ‘popcorn’ texture of the project.
The popcorn itself was left in its shrink wrap plastic and simply measured and then I applied decorative paper over top and a ribbon to tie it together. It came out adorable! My little sister’s salty tooth will prove to be a fun challenge this round.
Now onto some sweet chocolaty treats, I made these mini designer bags using a heavy stock patterned paper I found at the craft store, I made four of each in the three designs shown. I plan to make alot more of this project, they are super fast and easy to mass produce!
This is from the batty for you set in the current stampin up catalog. I used google eyes to dress up the little bat guy, I think he is adorable.
One last project for today, I made these mini composition notes, designed for your purse for quick notes, you can cater these to any occasion or mood. I simply covered the little books with designer paper, ribbon and used a small flower stamp and dew drops as accessories. Each little book took about 3-5 minutes to finish. How much fun is that?
