Waiting and more Waiting!
Ever feel like you are in a ‘airplane’ type holding pattern, just waiting to take off or land. That has been the sterotypical description of my day. However, the good news is I took off and landed, softly and securly.
The story: Today was ‘the’ appointment. I went down to Walter Reid Army Medical Center. Recently I had been refered to the women’s specialty breast clinic for diagnostic testing and possible incisional biopsy of a small mass in the left breast. I wasn’t excited about the appointment.
My dear hubby, Michael, took off from working
Mike got so bored he was playing games on his blackberry (not typical of my dear hubby trust me). I was giddy and laughing, he was waiting in a seprate waiting room, and was thankful I was not only Ok, but didn’t have to undergo any procedures or surgery.
So, after we returned home, we spent the afternoon shopping for some Mint, Lemon Verbena, Chocolate Mint and other herbs for our garden. We are still endanger of frost, so we have to bring all of our little ‘plantlings’ in at night so they don’t get hit by frost. I’m ready for consistant warm weather!
To celebrate todays good news, I’m adding to the Blog Candy pot. I will include one of the black and white musical cards (see some of my old posts for a picture). It is a 3-D butterfly. These cards are so beautiful and so easy I hope you will try the technique for yourself.
Plese check out my blog entry from yesterday, there are alot of swaps and not alot of folks signing up, I hope you will sign up for one or more or all of the swaps, I am hoping for a huge amount of folks to do this swap. As a reminder, if you participate, I will send you an item that was stamped by me for what ever catagory(s) you join.
Have a Stamp Happy Tuesday!
