The Re-Done flower pot

Happy Sunday!

It has been yet another really beautiful day. Our yard is looking super fantastic and as I mentioned there are so trees and bushes started to show off their spring blooms.

The flower pot project. OK, I hope you guys laugh at this one. Simply because it was a typical “Loretta” moment.

I sat down and repainted the damaged parts of the pot and was pleased. I grabbed my spray paint can and headed to the back stair well to coat it. I shook the can and started to spray the pot, at that moment I realized that I had grabbed the white can of spray paint, not the sealant.

So, that mistake I could not undo. I opted to spray both pieces solid white and allowed them to dry for about 2 hours. Once dry I re-painted the project so it looks basically the same as before. This time I added yellow swirls and a hand drawn lady bug. I used my copic markers for this part of the project. I also added a few more polka dots to the pot base and base of the actual pot. I planted two orange pansies inside.

I am also working on an altered clipboard project that I plan to finish off tomorrow. Mike has to travel again next week so I have a few projects around to help keep me busy. I will be blogging these soon!
