Snickers, a mini album and an online group!
Snickers, our smallest Shih Tzu.
Don’t you feel a bit sorry for the poor puppies who live in our home? Snickers was (is) needy and cold, so (the scrap book keeper came out in me — I just couldn’t help myself) I wrapped him up in a baby blanket and wrapped it around his head, he is a patient little soul!
I am participating in my FIRST EVER mini book exchange I belong to an online group called “My Paper Pantry” (click the name for the web sight) . My exchange partner is Sherri and she lives in Japan. It is really exciting to learn more about her culture and exchange books with her. Here is the front cover of the mini. I used ultra thick embossing enamel and stamped directly into it. I added color and dimension with both rub and buff as well as perfect pearls. The stamped piece as well as the cover was sprayed with an archival preservative.
The picture on the bottom right is one from my personal collection, it is actually a picture of my parents from the 1950’s shortly after they where wed. I photo copied and trimmed the original to acccent the cover.
Even though more eclectic “artsy” is not my general style, I am learning about new technique, balance, color and just having a great time. The ladies in the group are awesome and I am having a very nice experience.
December 15 is my 46th birthday! Around that time there will be an exciting announcement I get to make in regard to design team work. I am so excited and look forward to the opportunity to share more exciting products with all of you.
Have a wonderful weekend, I hope you enjoyed the earlier video for Digital Delights stamps, it is a short and sweet how to video on making snowman soup.
Stamp Happy, be a blessing!
