senior Angel project

Hello my friends;

  I have been working on this simple yet very elegant card for my Senior Angel friend “Ms. J” .  She is an elderly lady. The Senior Angel program can be found here.  It is a worth while activity when you would like to give back and minister to others.

Today’s card is 6 X 6″ finished.  There are graduated layers of black and white card stock. The top layer is embossed with a floral embossing folder by Darcie’s.  It is called flower frenzy.  I used my dies by both Spellbinder’s and I’m unsure who manufacturer’s the flourish.

The 3D butterfly (center) is from Martha Stewart.  Stamped onto shrink plastic and layered.  Click here for a video tutorial on how they are made. To keep the lines and colors simple, I used black ink and coordinating black and white poke-a-dot ribbon.

The smaller butterflies are from a recollections butterfly set.

Our new fur edition, Isabella is doing well.  The first picture, above was taken this morning. She is learning quickly.  She is a precious addition to our family.
