Rolodex Swap — lots of pictures
Hello Friends!
It is just the most beautiful weather here in Southern Maryland. It was also a sad day of sorts.
My husband planted a nice garden this year and I have enjoyed every delicious bite. Today was sad, I am starting to pull out the dead and dying tomato and pepper plants. Soon the entire garden will be finished.
Chad and I will be composting most of the vegetation, so our next planting season will have fertilizer made from this year’s crops.
There is so much still to do in our garden to get it ready for fall, but I know that the effort put into the soil now will pay big benefits in the future.
Today I made these really adorable Rolodex cards. I used my sizzix telephone and address clear die to cut the card stock. The patterned paper is from BoBunny and is called “apple cider collection”.
The theme for this swap is fall, but not Halloween. I chose to go with pumpkins (both stamped on card stock and shrink plastic) I used a sizzix bat on the moon. The moon was cut from glittery card stock with my Spellbinder’s Nestability dies.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. I hope you will give a project like this one a try. These are super fun to make and really unleashed my creativity.
Stamp Happy and be a blessing!
