Recognition — Shepherd’s Cove Hospice
Beauty for ashes. This is more of an introspective post than anything else.
You see when I was growing up, my parents modeled unselfish love and service to others. My mother was often behind the scenses and many a time I knew of a gift or action she provided that no one else knew about.
During those critical teen years I was exposed to the most wonderful organization on the planet, the International Order of Rainbow for girls. As part of this organization I rose to the 3rd highest position that of Grand Charity. It was my job to be an example for girls coming up behind me. Those precious lessons resignate with my very soul even to this day .
One of the things you are taught is to serve with love. Often when I close a blog post or even a speech it is “In Love and Service”. Receiving the Heart of Hospice award just verifies what I already knew. A life of service to and for others to Glorify the Lord Jesus is a life that is well lived. I still have much to learn and much to do and in all of it I give the Lord of the heavens and of us the glory and praise.
It is my prayer you will give to others and allow the father to exchange your ashes for his beauty.
In love and service until next time…. stamp happy and be a blessing.
