Moving Along

Hello Friends!

It has been over a month since we closed on our new home in Alabama and we closed on the house we sold in Maryland on August 15.

We closed out our self-storage unit which means things are just literally sitting in various stages of unboxing everywhere in the house.

Problem is, our brand new kitchen floor had to be pulled up.  Apparently a valve in the water heater went kablooie. Which sprayed water under the kitchen floor.  It was lovely.  Not.  We have a fan out to try and speed the drying of the floor and hope that once it is mostly dried out we can spray some bleach over the surface to kill any mildew  or mold that this mess caused.  It is a huge in convince.  The kitchen at least was in working order.  Now the refrigerator is sitting in a corner of the family room.

Today our new gas cooktop was mostly installed.  We are waiting for a vent part so we will be able to use it.  So while we are in this weird holding pattern, I thought I’d share the craft room closet.

First picture is the closet before anything was even in the room.  The remainder are what it looks like this evening.  Mike wants me to wait until tomorrow to fill up the newly painted wooden shelves with dies.  I will post more pictures of my craft room coming together as I am able.
