Mike and Loretta Rodger
Mike and I recently attended a wedding in Aberdeen, Virginia. We had a lovely time.
The food was excellent, the decor’ was simple yet elegant and the music, wine and cake also very nice.
I ordered a 5X7″ print of the picture the photographer took of Mike and I. I had this frame in my laundry room, where it has been sitting, getting a bit bashed. I actually liked that it wasn’t perfect. That just adds to the charm of this project. I used my Wild Orchid Craft roses and flowers, the butterflies are stamped, colored trimmed and shrank using Shrinky Dink’s brand shrink film.
I embellished the piece with patterned paper, and bling. The entire project only took me about 2 hours to complete. That was mostly waiting for glue to dry.
Every thing was hot glued in place with a bit of E6000 so that when the piece is dry the flowers and decorations will be permanent.

Pretty. I thought those looked like your signature shrink butterflies. Isn't it nice to use something that you were saving for "one day". I know I have a small vault of "one day I can use this for…" Items.
