Fantastic Fairy Flip Card (The never ending card)
I have loved the ‘never ending’ card idea since I first viewed one on Carol Duvall show on HGTV. I have totally taken the concept in a different direction.
I have found taking a bit more time with the basics, and adding patterned papers and layers makes the entire project more fun. This one took me about two hours to complete, but well worth my efforts. The cutting and folding are not that difficult. It is actually an easy card to construct and play with.
Oh, I had a blast today with my stamping friend. She made swap cards while I worked on this beautiful creation. Thanks for a great day!
Yesterday I had a few errands to run, not the least of which was going to get my car from the shop. While on my travels, I went into Michael’s. There was a lady in the check out with her arms full of clear stamps. If you know me you can figure out by this time, I’ve turned bright red and am hollering “where did you find those?!!” She kindly pointed me in the direction of the bins in the middle of the store, and I quickly went into spaz mode trying to find as many sets as I can. I bought a bunch of extras to gift off with my birthday random act of kindness cards on splitcoast stampers.
It is over cast and raining today. The kind of weather that makes one long for a cup of hot tea and a good book. I opted for some down home house cleaning. This poor home was a might bit overdue!
If you have any questions on this project, please let me know!
Have a super evening! Stamp Happy!
I will still be drawing blog candy tomorrow. Unfortunately, as of last night Craig had failed an assignment at tech school and may not be flying home tomorrow. I still have my fingers crossed that he was able to re-take the test, but I’m not getting my hopes up at this point.
