Christmas Ornament for Shepherds Cove Hospice
ORNAMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Shepherds cove hospice
By: Loretta Rodger
Supplies needed
Clear ornaments
Plastic cups
Hot glue/glue sticks
Ribbon, scissors
Glitter
Squeeze bottle filled with liquid floor wax or Polycrylic
Egg carton
Basket shred
Curling ribbon
Color pencils
Remove crown of ornament and fill with the floor wax or polycrylic. Pour the excess into a small container so that it can be reused. Swirl the liquid around to have complete coverage on the inside. Put the ornament upside down into the egg carton and allow to finish draining. I do this for several ornaments at a time.
Once the ornaments are drained, use the glitter of your choice and fill the ornament. Once again you will be swirling the ornament to achieve good coverage. Dump out the remainder of the glitter and discharge. Replace the crown and once again place the ornament into the egg carton to finish draining and dry. The ornaments will be completely dry within 5-10 minutes.
Decorate the ornament as desired. You will be provided stickers, permanent markers, ribbon, and stretchy cord. Once your ornament is complete and dry, you will package them individually in the gift bags provided.
You will also be given some stamped images and color pencils. Please color the images, once they are all done, I will use an electronic die cutter to cut them out and make gift cards for the packages.
Please email: Ms.Rhetta@gmail.com or call me at 256-572-3830 if you would like to arrange to pick up ornaments to create for this project. ALL materials will be left on the front porch for those whom choose to help in this manner. When your projects are complete, I request that they be returned to me. Enjoy the video….
until next time, stamp happy and be a blessing!
