Very busy day. I’m trying to get things done around our home and still take some time for fun stamping time. The first video shows a few projects I’ve made over the last few days and the second is the RCAD #19. Rolodex card a day.

RCAD #18 — Rolodex card a day with video progress

ROLODEX CARD A DAY #18

First of all Happy Sunday. It is a beautiful day!

In spite of my many stumbles during my video introduction and even in the making of today’s RCAD it is in fact #18. I got a little tickled at myself over this blunder. However, I do like the overall look and feel of today’s card.

RCAD #17 with video progress

Hello my crafty Friends!

Happy FRIDAY!

Let the weekend begin! It should be an uneventful one here and hopefully the weather will clear up and we will be blessed by warm sunshine. I was going to put some compost into my garden and turn the soil in an effort to making ready for the Spring time planting of lettuce, spinach and peas.

It’s raining so, tomorrow or later this weekend will be a more optimal time for which to put my garden into the ground.

Today’s RCAD Is based on Christy Tomlinson’s She Art dolls. I must admit that mine are not nearly as nice as hers or other folks’ interpretation of them. I am having a difficult time getting faces balanced.

RCAD #16 with video process

Hello and Happy Thursday!

What a beautiful day.

Before I get to todays RCAD or rolodex card a day #16. I must tell you the story of the smart puppy.

You see little Abby is now 6 1/2 months old. Curious as many puppies often are and very smart. This afternoon I had grown weary of her continuous scratching to try and get back behind my desk with me. Usually I would just pick her up and love on her, but I knew she wanted my snack and just wanted to get into mischief.

Next thing I know I hear the sound of a pounce. Tiggers may bounce but Abby can pounce. So, pounce she did. She jumped from the floor then to the top of some storage drawers I keep in front of my desk. She then pounced on top of my desk. I am now face to face with a furry very proud of herself puppy.

Now I am going to have to empty or relocate these storage drawers to prevent future kinks in my defenses. The opening on the right of my desk is protected with a stiff heavy card board, the left side is protected by a piece of plywood that I have a baby gate securely fastened to my tool chest (which is covered by a skirt and holds dies).

RCAD #15 with video process

A Very quick post.

After my fiasco of trying to get RCAD #14 to load and the nightmare that became.

I had a really great time of experiencing the joy’s of having Youtube reject my video because of a copy right issue with some country music I tried to upload. Here’s a thought, give credit due and let me add what I want to my video. I own the music.

So I’ve started from square one and have re-edited the video for the third time, and am awaiting it to re-save and subsequently re-load to Youtube. There has to be a better way. If you guys have any ideas., please let me know.

Also, for you seasoned blogger’s, Youtube guru’s, can you please tell me how to mute my video so I can add a voice over. That would be extremely wonderful. I may just keep track of my own progress. I’m very proud of the progress I’ve made in the last week in regard to the editing part, and I know that I still have some learning to do.
