Santa Christmas tag for a swap on CCL with Video and pictures!!

Today’s project is a Christmas tag for a swap on Creating the crafty life. This project was fun to create. I used my tag dies form Accucut craft. The other dies are from my personal collection. There are so many element’s to this tag.

Among many favorite things with this tag, my favorites include the large cabochons. They offer some additional interest. I used stamps from My Favorite things stamps.

This Album was made using medium weight chipboard and dies from accucut craft. I used paper from a retired DCWV stack. I used ink from Memento Northern Pine ink to sponge the edges.

Friendship Mixed Media Journal

A quick post showing a two for one video of two Friendship art journal pages I have been working on for the past few days. I did not do any real editing of this video. The music is from for King and Country “Busted Heart” (hold onto me) and from Casting Crowns “Holy One. Both music selections can be purchased on the Itunes store.

I used felt from My Favorite Things. The snowman dies are from Stephanie Bernard and the Stamps of life. I really liked the quirky look that I achieved by making the snowman green. I do not have a vast selection of the felt, so I used what I had on hand.

It is a good way to think outside of the box. I hope you will try something like these fun art journal pages!

A swap with Candace and A Spinner Card

So sorry that the package I received form Candace today was not opened on camera. I thought I was recording the opening, and apparently I was not.

I so love everything that Candace sent to me! I really love the little bunny stick pin and trivet box.

Today’s crafty project was like the road to hell. Paved with grand good intentions. I’d already made a few of them, so you would have thought that this one would have been a walk in the park. You would be wrong, because honestly, I certainly was.

I first attended one of Wayne Watson’s concerts (man is this going to date me) in the late 1980’s. I love his laid back style with a slightly rock music edge.

Surround yourself with music that brings a smile to your face. My personal favorite Genera’s are Contemporary Christian music and Country music.
