There are a few things about living in a free country that stand out to me.  The wheels of justice do turn slowly and some times not fairly.  However in the case of Craig, he is where he needs to be.

That is a very sad thought, but it is true.  He made the decision as an adult to view and distribute pictures of children engaged in sexual acts or pictures of this type of activity.  If I had known what he was doing, I would have turned him in myself. It is disgusting to me. My heart just aches for what he has done. What he is still capable of doing.

It has been since July 2011 when he was initially charged, he was convicted and sentenced November 30, 2012 in the Maryland District Court when he was sentenced to SIX years in prison and 10 years supervised visitation.

From a mother’s view. No this doesn’t get easier.  As hard as the heart of my son is toward me and toward God, I can only imagine the depth of emptiness in his soul.  You need Jesus.  It may not be politically correct, people may not like my view, but they will know where I stand and with whom.

  For Craig.  Take your ugliness and turn it into something good.  Homosexual folks don’t act the way you are acting. You’re actually giving them a bad name.  So the question is often asked or the statement made that I am “homophobic”. Um, I think not.  I love all people and think we all have a plan and purpose for our lives.  To fully understand that, you guessed it.  You need Jesus.

We are in that horrible stage of moving where most of our physical goods are split in 3 places.  Storage, New house, old house.  Two Uhaul trucks, four or five rental cars.  I’ve completed at least 6 flights.
Note to you folks, keep your schedules some what flexible.  The most I have paid out of pocket for a flight is $58.  I try to fly Southwest.  If you get the opportunity to get “bumped” off your flight they give you vouchers (often for more than you paid for the flight).  Those vouchers have come in mighty handy.

We recently received a voucher because our plane was turned around. The flight crew and pilot did a great job with a situation that could have gone horribly wrong.  The front landing gear would not retract.  Which means they probably were not real sure it was locked down either.  I have to admit I was a bit nervous, however it is one of the smoothest landings we have ever had.

I wish rental car companies had a point system so you could earn a rental car free for a week. That would be nice.

On a side note, we plan to purchase a king size bed.  Why you ask?  That is a great question, my friend.  We share our lives and our bed with (count with me here) Snickers, Abby, Cooper and Molly.   Four dogs.  We get crowded off our queen bed.  So the search for the perfect bedroom grouping has also began.

I do miss stamping and crafting in general.  Priorities being what they are I’m not sure when I’ll even find all the boxes marked “craft”.  I actually labeled one of them “my broom is in here”.  I’ve also labeled others “Don’t quit now, we’re almost done”.  My humor on those days that it is over 100* in the shade and we are moving heavy boxes.

Another update (Vlog) on our moving situation.  Enjoy!

We close a week from today.  Everything seems like it is some where between a box, plastic bag and the sidewalk. Literally.

This has been our home for nearly 11 years. (Closed August 5, 2005). Hard to believe it is time for us to move onto our next adventure.

Thank you for your love and patience.  My craft/stamp supplies will be totallyp aked by the end of today, so I won’t be creating for a while.

Hello Everyone,
Today is a diemond dies project for your enjoyment.  I used the stack-able stitched square dies.

After I stamped the focal image, I created a mask and airbrushed the back ground.  Next I colored the focal image and added interest with my white copic ink.  Then the main panel was die cut.  This main panel was layered onto the 4 1/2″ Square backing piece and placed on the card.

It was then finished up by using some scallop dies (for waves) that are from my personal collection.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
