I tried several times to get this photo to turn the proper direction. As you can plainly see, that didn’t work….

I added google eyes to the bunny and chick from my collection. I even wore this piece today while I was out running errands. I received many compliments and kind comments. I may make more of these to sell! It is getting to be the time of the year to make pins to sale for spring/summer themes. We’ll see what I come up with.

Shrinky Dink

Easter Pin, HAUL, lawnfawn, Shrink Plastic, Simon Says Stamp 0

Shrink Plastic is one of my favorite mediums to use in my crafting projects. Above in the video I show many different shapes used to create these adorable embellishments.

Simon Says Stamp is a fantastic online store for finding many of your favorite brands. I used their products to make this pin. To make the clouds and sun float above the image, I used some plastic packaging that I cut into thin strips then glued in place on the back of the 2″ button. (Button was purchased from Hobby Lobby). I also purchased the pin back from them.

Swap

I am participating in an online swap with creating the crafty life. You can check out their site by clicking here. We are to make two keys, two bottle caps and two altered buttons.

I found my buttons at Hobby Lobby in the sewing section. They are 2″ each. I used some small birds that were gifted to me along with flowers from my personal collection. In the small envelope is a surprise for the folks who are participating as well.

The buttons are secured to the top of the box with light tack glue dots. The small box is from Sizzix. I cut the box from medium weight chipboard as well as from different patterned papers from my stash. I also used lace and ribbon to add the finishing touches.

Car Vlog and a cute puppy picture

Hello my friends, somewhere in today’s post is a VLOG from a car trip I took today into Huntsville, AL. I visited both Joann Fabric and Crafts as well as Michaels. Joann’s fabric was completely disappointing. I was hoping to find the new DCWV paper stacks. The paper crafting section of the store had tumbleweeds. Not a lot there for the taking. There were only a few stamps, and maybe 5-10 paper stacks. Nothing I was interested in. The good thing about this visit was that next door to the store was a Guitars and more store. Since moving to Alabama my music stand has come up missing. So have a few other items that Mike and I believe may be packed away in the garage or in a mislabeled box.

http://https://youtu.be/6Pi9FjTtPXg . This is today’s Vlog from my car. I hope you will enjoy the footage as well as the VLOG. Guntersville Lake is just beautiful. We have lived here nearly 6 months now and the view does not get old. It is very soothing.

After about 3 weeks of trying to contact Totally Tiffany (which in my opinion, even though my problem is resolved) still has really bad customer service. After taking “my case” to a public forum, I was finally contacted by the staff and will be getting a full refund of the unused scraprack page inserts. I will try and do a follow up post soon. The Card, Playful standups die and coordinating stamp set was not claimed as part of a recent give away. I will be redrawing this winner soon, so please check back.
