Recipe Box — Episode 26 of the 2018 Craft Fair series

After a few trials and fails of making a recipe box on my own, I in the end decided to just purchase some recipe boxes (On sale 7/2/18-7/6/18) at Hobby Lobby. I will be covering them, and including recipes inside. I was a lucky girl when I won a huge lot of 60 cookbooks from Ebay. I also plan to have the recipe books as part of a package, you receive a free book with the box.

These boxes are also great to be used to house cards. All occasions. You can do a monthly tab system for birthdays and seperate tabs for get well or sympathy cards.

A Zoo of Pom Pom (DIY) Critters

Hello my friends,

I still am struggling to work out the gremlins of my website. I hope that it will resolve soon.

With the kick off of the Shepherd’s Cove hospice craft club tomorrow night I found myself over whelmed and some what burned out. So after finishing up a majority of the items that needed to be completed for the meeting on the 14th of July, I made the decision to sit down and make these adorable little pom pom critters.

I used inexpensive tinsel pom pom’s from Walmart. The bow dies are from https://pinkandmain.com and from AliExpress, https://aliexpress.com . I do not have direct links. I am sure you can easily find similar size bow dies for your own purposes.

I used hot glue and Elmer’s extreme school glue to put these together. I also used a circle punch and google eyes to complete the process. The paper used for the bows and bases is from Doodlebug designs.

Craft Fair Series Episode 20 With written tutorial

CRAFT FAIR SERIES 0

Hello Friends!

For this project you will need Hand Sanitizer, Card stock, patterned paper, paper trimmer, glue or tape and a bone folder.

Instructions: Cut cardstock to 3 3/4: X 5 1/2:
Score both of the long sides 1″ from each side
Turn and score at 1″ and 2″ make a slight mark at 3″.
Using your scissors cut from the 3″ mark to the top. So it creates a nice angel.
Form and glue the box together using glue or strong tape.

Layering pieces measure 1 5/8″ X 7/8 for the front of the box and for the inside and outside back cover 1 5/8″ X 6 7/8″ Glue into place inside the box wrap around top and glue into place. I will be charging $2.00 each for these at my first ever craft fair on

Once you have die cut the treat carrier, assemble it as I show in the video. I used glossy accents and patterned paper to complete this project. These will take 5-10 each on average to complete. They wouldn’t take as long if you prepare your materials ahead of time and have things set up assembly line style.
