In today’s post I will show you how to make this adorable modified slider card. For the slider mechanism you can purchase the die from My favorite things stamps here.
I used two pennies and a pop dot from my collection. To enable the sliding mechanism to move smoothly, i used baby powder I purchased from my big box store and applied it with a paint brush. If the image wants to flip entirely, you may want to add some more pop dots, simply place them on the sides and middle of the back on the image and remove the stickiness from the pop dot back so it slides across the card easily.
These cards can be time consuming, but are well worth the effort. If you have any questions, please email me directly at Ms.Rhetta@gmail.com. Please put the name of today’s project in the subject line so I will not disregard your email as spam.
Have a super day, stamp happy and be a blessing! Until next time!

Welcome to the way back machine! Today we are unmounting previously mounted red rubber (mostly) stamps. Many of these stamps are from Stampin’ Up.
The stamps you see in this video are long since retired. You probably can still purchase them on sites like Ebay or even Etsy. I suggest a google search or even google image search.
When removing these stamps from their wood prisons, be patient. Often if you can just make even the slightest of opening between the rubber and the foam backing. A blunt pair of scissors or even your nails make short work of this.
Older stamps release easier only because the bond of adhesive is somewhat weakened by time. If you have trouble removing them, soak in some warm soapy water. I do not suggest goo-b-gone or other products as they can deteriorate the rubber.
DO NOT save or burn the blocks, throw them in the trash. Often these blocks are made from a highly treated wood, and are not safe. ESPECIALLY do not allow a child to handle or place them in their mouths.
Have a great day, feel free to ask any questions! Until Next time…

Thank you all for joining me for this year long journey! Stamp Happy and be a blessing!
Hello friends!
Today I altered a cigar box using a spring themed paper collection direct from the cuteness of Doodlebug designs. I used matte Medium and a small soft brush to apply the paper to the box. I did not do any real prep of the surface other than coating it with the Golden Matte Medium gel. I used long even strokes to apply the product.
Then I placed my trimmed card stock on top and sealed it with the matte medium. I used two coats. To seal the edges and finish the look, I used washi tape from my collection. The Washi tape was also applied and sealed with the matte medium to insure it would be permanent (and water resistant). The Bow die is from Pink and Main.
