First off, a very special thanks to my dear friend Rhonda. I love my extra (extra) large ball jar as my Easter gift.

We recently made a trip to the ribbon outlet store in Hagerstown, Maryland. Can you see all of that luscious ribbon?! It is fantastic, easily accessible and actually saved me some room from the shoe box plastic bins they had been living in. They are both attractive and practical for storage.

I won the wonderful spice jars (really long with nice screw tops) from an eBay, it came parcel post and was very in-expensive. It is perfect for buttons, prima flowers, and other goodies. It doesn’t take up a huge foot print on my desk and it looks really nice. I’m already really enjoying this piece!

***** The top two photos are my altered post it holders swap I am doing on Splitcoast stampers. I used a template provided by the wonderful leaders of this organization to create the post it holder that has the flowers on top. Click here for the link. The other post it holder is an altered coaster, the stamp set on the altered coaster is the tart and tangy set from Stamping up.

I hope you guys will have a great weekend. I’m planning to get some things altered and some more cards done.
I have discovered a new product called ‘floral soft’, the last two pictures show the product in use. I wish you could touch them. They do look and feel like real flowers!

I used my copic markers to color all the images. The queen mum image was a gift (in a wonderful package) sent from a friend in another state. Thanks so much for all the goodies, I love everything!

I haven’t decided if I will use these jumbo clips as book markers or put them in a cute pot with some dimensional paper flowers. I will share what ever finished project evolves!

I had such a wonderful day! I had lunch with some dear friends and we went shopping at both one of our favorite stamp stores, Queens Ink. It is a delightful store with many treasures.

There where four ladies out today and we also poked around Savage Mills. I collect cows and saw this beauty and *had* to have her. I didn’t really care for the outfit she came with, so I opted to buy her this pretty spring sun dress. The dress was a bit big, so I simply re seamed the back so she has a perfectly fitted outfit.

I can not even remember how long I have been collecting cows. There is something about finding the really cute ones that just makes me smile. It’s a bit like being a kid again!

Blog candy rules. If you have won blog candy in the last five months you won’t be eligible again until six months after you won. Please feel free to leave comments, but I am trying to be fair here.

Just a small change from the past. Please start leaving posts on today’s entry until I draw the blog candy. I enjoy your kind feedback and wonderful comments
I hope every one has had a great day. Mine has been lazy. I woke up late, and even took a nap. How sad is that?! ***** ***** I did get around too two projects, an altered journal and a gift bag. I think they came out really cute. Here is the funny for you, I tried to have Chad to do a video of the project for us. I may allow a select few to view this outrageous video, but oh my its bad. ***** ***** Even though I was lazy, Chad and I got a round of mini golf and batting cages in this afternoon. It was really nice outside probably around 65* with a light breeze. ***** ***** I ran by Michael’s and found two different stamp sets for $1.99 each and a box of chipboard for $4.99. Now with that said, these will become part of my blog candy offering. Pictures will be posted tomorrow and blog candy will run from today, April 9,2009 until Craig comes home around May 2, 2009. ***** ***** There is also a vintage clock stamp set in the blog candy which I will photo for you guys tomorrow! **** **** The journal is covered front and back with the recipients name on the front of it. Stamped with basic brown ink from stamping up! The shapes are the new dies from spellbinders nestabilities. ***** ***** Stamp Happy! *****

The top picture is the finished neighbor gift basket. I am really pleased with how it finished off. The last presents in the basket are a pair of garden gloves and a nice trawl. I am looking forward to the day I can deliver it. Which should be around May 1. Don’t worry the little plant is already enjoying some time on our back deck. In the afternoon sun.

Now on to the altered clip board. I used one of the new long and skinny clip boards from Stamping up. I used decorative papers from the Stamping Up sell-a-bration this year and used various spring themed stamps. I know that the picture of the little lamb on the front doesn’t show justice to the embossed yellow layer under neath the piece.

The clip board is finished on the back as well. I used ribbon, glitter and felt stickers to finish off the project!

I tried to get a few extra views of this project since when it was finished it was immediately gifted out to a lady who helped me with my car repair. I was hit while in a parking lot. The jerk didn’t even look, he backed right into me.

I received his insurance information and the very next day the company called me and had me ready to have my car fixed. The company did the work in about 3 days and it looks awesome. I even sprung to have the dings and front light fixed. That was from a Metro parking lot issue last year when some dumb person clipped the front end and didn’t even leave a note. I hate rude people!
