You can stamp on anything!

Hello stampers,

I don’t know if you can tell by the pictures, but these are not tumbled marble tiles, they have a flat smooth top finish. Stamp the images with staz on ink, and color with copic markers, try not to let them ‘touch’ or the ink will certainly fade out or transfer to the marker, not pretty.

I stamped and heat set each tile, then took them outside for a quick spray with a low gloss acrylic sealer, allowed that to dry throughly and attached felt pads to the bottom for protection of the furniture. These are a gift for a friend.

Now onto some of your questions: Currently I have started taking Desipramine . I would like to take this opportunity to encourage each of you to take the time and read the information available on the websight. There are some great insights and observations. This is the second time I have tried this medication, I took it for two years after the divorce of my first husband, and I combined it with counseling. Once I was back on track I was able to wean off the medications.

Fast forward 13 + years, and I am re-starting counseling, and have been on the Medication for the last few months, with very good results. I am so proud to be able to have a Savior and Lord who cares my physical and mental well being enough to keep me safe and secure in his love.

It has been so much fun watching the videos about the CHA. I was just going to let you know that Prima had live classes that they recorded on U-Stream you may want to watch. I had so much fun chatting with the lady’s while watching the classes. Donna had one class and Marion with a couple others. It was great. Gina made some great videos as well. Just thought I would share.

Yes, Joanne, I think I have watched ton’s of videos on CHA as well, they are all good. Your goodies probally arrived today, I was tardy posting the candy winner, so please accept my apologies.

Today’s project is not a hard one to accomplish. This one will be mailed to Just cards for possible publication.

Start with a card base in black that measures a standard 5 1/2 X 4 1/4″ folded. Layer on top a piece of white quality card stock that measures 5 1/4″ X 4″.

Over stamp the bottom edge of both the white and black cardstock with Cameo coral Brillance ink, heat set. Print sheet music from 8notes.com onto a transparency (the sticky side) and trim to fit front of card. It is attached at the top with two black brads that you can not see because of the ribbon.

The flower is a new Mulberry paper rose from Recollections, Stamp image is hero arts and the butterfly is pxb. Stamp the butterfly twice using the same ink, and smear the back of the wings with the same ink.

Heat set, cut apart the body from the wings allowing only one “top and bottom” portion to remain. Adhear together using E6000 glue allow to dry. Then using the same glue perch the butterfly atop the flower. Embellish with glitter, and you’re done!

Today has been a quiet day, it rained much of the morning for which we are really thankful, it has been so dry and hot here for the last several months.

Speaking of rain, our tomatoes continue to do really well. On a side note, the KOTM will be availabe until the end of August. Please join in on the fun!

More suitecase treat boxes

Happy Sunday! I hope this day finds you receiving blessings from the Lord and a relaxing afternoon filled with love, stamp time and anything else you may desire. I have also attached pictures of my new desk caddy, I purchased it from the clearance isle at Michael’s craft store, I really love the different layers and the fact that the piece has a lazy susan bottm is fantastic. As you can see I put my creative nature to work and embellished it. It came out so darn cute! Please forgive today’ pot, if you want to see how to put the suite case box together, please fast forward the video to about the 5:58 minute mark. I tired to splice this video so you didn’t have to hear me scratch through Ashokan Farwell, but you do get to see my new violin and hear what it sounds like. I guess I feel the need to remind every on that I am just a student of the instrument, and haven’t had much in the way of practice time. If anyone out their in blog land would like to take me under your wing and teach me how to edit these darn video’s, I’d be so grateful for the help.
