Punch covers and the inside paper. Assemble by placing the disc into the punched pieces. This will only take a few moments.
Finish by placing disc side toward the sealed edge of the bag and creating a topper. I will charge $7.50-$8.00 each for these. I hope you will give this a try. Please give me credit if you decide to make these for yourselves.
The main table I was sorting on has now come down. I’ve also put many things into large containers so I can sort them at a later time. With the Christmas season among us, the hoard clear out has to be put aside for a few days while I focus on the holiday season’s obligations. Here is the video and a few pictures at the end of day seven.
Have a wonderful week, thank you to those who have served us as members of the Armed Services! Thank you especially to my husband, MSG M.L. Rodger, retired and my son SPEC Chad James active duty Army.
Things have to get worse before they are better. (quote my mother!). Today is day six of clean up. Yesterday was spent with some stamps and making a prototype for the Christmas cards going to Hospice patients. I also sold some things from this space I am no longer using.
Today’s projects included purchasing a book case for my space, it is solid black, at this moment I am unsure as to if I will be painting it white. With the other black elements in my space, the black color is nice.
My main goal today is to try and regain space for creativity. It is my goal that before bedtime I will have the floor clear and only have one large box out for sorting. As with many plans the constraints on time and energy may preclude that from becoming reality.
Once again, if you are redoing your space, it is my suggestion to do what you can, when you can. Do not put false parameters on your time. Taking things slowly allows you to not second guess later on. Here is the video on YouTube.
Have a wonderful weekend! Stamp happy and be a blessing! Until next time!
Day five began very quietly. A fact for which I am grateful!
Cleaning out takes time. I am grateful that I have accomplished so much over the last 5 days. Today I had set aside for running errands and beginning the process of cleaning out my side of the master bedroom closet.
To keep from being overwhelmed I made a decision earlier in the day to place many of the items I need to sort into two plastic bins. This way I can tackle these projects one at a time. This will allow me to do it right once.
This evening I have determined to take out a few stamp and die sets and make a few “prototype” cards. I will be sharing these with my husband and will make a decision to which style(s) will be made for this years Christmas card mailing. I will post pictures if I remember tomorrow.
Today’s advice, the space you are organizing is yours. Do not allow anyone to take the wind out of your sails. Find a pace that works. Take breaks, stay hydrated and enjoy the process. It is said it takes 21 days to break an old habit and 66 days to adapt a new one. Want to learn more, click this link and read the article.
Today is day five. Sixty one days to set a new habit. At this moment that does seem a ways away. However, personal determination and allowing myself grace will hopefully set this path straight.
Have a great day my friends! Stamp happy and be a blessing. Until next time…
The deep cleaning and organization of any space can be hard physical work. After the last three days of sorting, cleaning and hauling heavy stuff today I’ve made the decision to do projects that will allow me to rest.
This project is really basic. I am cutting cheap card stock to 5 1/2 X 7 1/4″ they are for some sleeves I use to store my stamps and dies. Click here to buy the sleeves for yourself.
