I used designer paper from KC & Company’s designer Tim Coffey paper stack. This card is 6″X6″ top folded. The two panels measure 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″. It is finished off with small pink and red hearts as well as larger white and red checkered wooden hearts. The sentiment is from a muse stamps and it is finished with stickles baby blue glitter glue and lace from my collection. She will be available starting on February 26, 2011.
The copic markers I used (in no particular order) are E34,C0, B01, B000, E33, C3, C1, E31, YR15, E50, E0000, G02, C4, Y02, R08, R14,E15, R30, R00, G000, E57, E51. The image was printed onto Papertrey white card stock using the ‘print in grayscale’ option. Once the image was printed (size is about 3.5 X 5″) I used my heat gun to dry the ink. I also used my glue gun to dry the stickles before adding the other embellishments.
To “ground” the image I used B000 and C1 under the cat and feet of Maisy. I hope you will enjoy this card and make one for yourself. Please check out the images and great things Holly has for you on the Squigglefly site.
On a more personal note, I have not posted much this week, and I have missed the opportunity. My husband and I went to Augusta, Georgia to attend the funeral of a dear family friend and great man. “Roy” was 83 when he was called home to heaven and was also the winner of a Bronze star during his military career. I was proud to be a member of this family and rejoice that his illness was now over and he was at peace with his maker.
Today, my husband Michael had a heart catheratization. I am happy to report other than being tired from the drugs given during the procedure, he is doing excellent and there was no blockage in any of his arteries. I appreciate the calls, emails and best wishes during this time in our lives. We are truly blessed and are thankful for the many good things we have been given.
Have a terrific week. Stamp Happy, be a blessing!
