Cut scrapbook paper and laminate. Using cardstock that measures 3 1/4″ X 8″, score at 1/2″, 1″, 4 1/4″ and 4 3/4″. Reinforce scores and place post it note inside. Using glossy accents. Today’s video showcases these professional grade watercolor half pans. I found them easy to unwrap and swatch. First I misted the pans with a spray bottle filled with ordinary tap water. Then using a sharpie (r) I wrote out the names of each color in the order in which they are in the pallet.
Using a number 4 watercolor brush from nicole, I then proceeded to swatch each color on the chart I had created. I made particular care to clean my brush with clean water and then a baby wipe to be sure there was no contamination of color. Please email me at: Ms.Rhetta@gmail.com should you have any questions. Enjoy the video!
Stamp image using a light brown ink. To do the watercoloring, you will want clean water and a paintbrush or water brush. Pick the color up with the tip of the brush (which should be damp not dripping wet) and apply the color to the image. Work darkest to lightest. If you have too much water, pick it up with a tissue.
Once the coloring is done, heat set the image then go over it a second time with the anti static bag and stamp using versamark ink. Using clear detail embossing powder, cover the image then set the powder with the heat tool.
To cut the panel down to size I used a stitched rectangle die (Pink and main). The “friends” was die cut using a die from Simon Says stamp. Place the die over the image and make sure it is straight. Use some low tac tape such as washi tape to hold this in place. Run it through your die cutter and remove. Then use some thin strips of foam tape to popp up the sentiment and place it back into the negative space of the diecut. Don’t loose your tittle or your patience… moving slowly is a virtue in this process.
Since the panel is watercolor paper it is easiest to attach it to a card basee using glue. There is a scalloped rectangle die under the main image. I finished the card up by using some splatters.
