SAN DIEGO!
Have a great day, we are catching up on our chores, laundry and other things. Hopefully some craftiness will come out of my week. Stamp Happy and be a blessing!
Why I could say “SH*T” and not pay the swear jar —
Here is the finished mini cigar box that will be included with the 400 subbies give away. I am pleased with how it turned out. It only took a few minutes to finish up.
Today, you know one of “those” days. The kind that doesn’t even start off well. First of all I woke up in a bit startled. Not sure what I was even dreaming about. That should have been my first clue to just stay in bed. But, no the diligent wife and mom has stuff to do.
So I toddle down to the kitchen grab breakfast (the home made granola and milk is so good). So far so good. Then I get to the basement and do my big girl business. Disaster, I heard glup.glup.glup. Not a good sign. called the county and waited it wasn’t clogged between the main and our shut off. Great, now I have to try (again) to plunge. No good. For one thing the smell of poo is disgusting, I did say the S*** word several times and don’t feel like I owe that swear jar a cent. Come on — really?
The only great part of my day was a quick run to hobby lobby where I picked up the new spellbinders Springy sprockets. They are huge, hoping they’ll shrink well. Yup me and my shrink plastic.
So now that the plumber has fixed the toilet, I am ready for a nice quiet night un interrupted by any type of crap. Enjoy your evening. Stamp Happy be a blessing.
Another Item for the 400 Subscriber give-away!
It has been a beautiful day here in Southern Maryland. The weather is clear and sunny. Warm enough to have the house opened up all day and take advantage of that by cleaning the oven.
When I made the granola some of it fell to the bottom causing a mess. So a quick self-clean and all is again well.
The journal above is now part of the 400 subbies give away. I used Jillie Bean Soup paper, ribbon, spellbinder and My Favorite things stamps and dies. The project took only about an hour to complete. I will be including some of the scraps from this project so the recipient can embellish it to their desire.
Now I would really like to know who left the “we’re stampers too!” note on my windshield yesterday. My Maryland vanity tag reads “STAMPER”. I was touched and surprised by the gesture.
Have a great Monday. Stay tuned to this channel for more exciting things!
Gifts from friends and a card for my friend Video Slide show.
Accucut will soon be in the house! I have a few new dies coming in this week. I wanted to make a payment to the friend I am buying them from and the darn Paypal wants over $10.00 for their “cut”. I think not. I’ll get out the check book, dust it off and send her the money that way.
I love this stamp from My Favorite things, click here. She is a pure innocence image. I adore the saying. I kept the card simple. It measures 5 1/2″ square. I used my dies from Spellbinders and dienamics from MFT.
Several months ago, Phyllis and Candace came to visit me. These ladies are incredible. We did some crafting and they brought me the beautiful goodies in the video slide show. Thank you ladies! I hope we can do this again soon! Please excuse me for being so tardy.
Have a great Sunday! Stamp happy, be a blessing.
