Squiggle fly image wreathbird
This beautiful image is so fun to work with. I really needed to put together a small package of goodies and a thank you card for someone who was very kind to me. I am so thankful for this person and her generosity. Today represents the launch of these two digital images. So join us for this wonderful stamp series on February 12, 2011.
Instructions for this card:
Copic marker list:
E51, R20, RV000, RV23,E51,E55,G000,Y02, Y11, Y0
Card stock / paper list:
White, brown, pink mulberry paper, white texture and patterned dcwv paper.
Instructions
White card base measures 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ side folded, all corners on all layers are rounded.
Brown layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″, patterned layer is 5″ X 2″, and the strip up top is just a scrap
I cut a circle using my nestabilities die and stamped the image. Colored with copic markers and popped it up on top of the image to spotlight it.
I made a stick pin and attached that to the front of the card.
Other fun stuff includes lace, stickles and glitter gelly roll pens.
The inside reads “Your kindness touches my heart”. All sentiments/greetings are typed from my computer’s font library and sized to accent the card.

Hi there!
Can you tell I’m writing this blog post in chapters?
For this image called “Hi there”. I want to show case how you can use simple things and scraps you have to create a beautiful card.
Digital designed stamps offer a wonderful fill to the collection of rubber and polymer stamps you already have on hand. Especially the cute images you can find at Squigglefly. I chose a sentiment “have a great day” from my collection, it is by rubber soul. I used a tTim Holtz clear tag to stamp the sentiment on. I used staz on ink for the stamping. I also used E6000 adhesive to attach it to the card.
I used scraps from my cosmo criket paper. As I have shared with all of you, I am longing for the warmer weather of spring, so I choose colors to compliment a warmer card.
Card stock yellow base is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2″, The yellow layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″. The green (mint) is 3 1/2″ X 3 3/4″. The image is some what fussy cut and pieced the umbrella on top. I used a mftstamps die to cut the butterfly and the boarder. The card is embellished with pink sparkly trim. The butterfly has acrylic hearts and wire to make its antenna.
