Bootiful stick pins and health update
Hi Friends!
It has just been beautiful weather here in Southern Maryland, too bad I haven’t been as sunny. On the 8th of September I was taken to the local emergency room with such spasms in my neck and back I couldn’t move. After three courses of pain killers I was sent home. Only to have to return at 6:00 the next morning. I followed up with my family doctor and she suggested Physical therapy. I have done three sessions and over all nothing was getting better.
Yesterday, I decided I had finally had *enough* problems and saw an Orthopedic doctor today. He stated I have a small bone spur between c-5 and 6 that is impinging on the nerve. He has prescribed a cortisone steroid for me to take. I have completed two of the six doses I have to take today. I am amazed that in just a few hours I feel so much better. Don’t get me wrong I still have pain but at least now it is mostly manageable.
Just for future reference, I have once again been attacked by some one I thought was a friend. It is a really sad story that I will out of respect for myself and this person not get into. However, it has caused me to rethink other things in my life including my online activities.
I belong to several .ning groups and feel that my work is being copied by some not so nice people. I will be going back to 100% watermarking all of my art. I also will be sharing swaps with you but will keep the group names annomous for the most part. I really hate doing this but there is bullying in these social sights and even on line, I am choosing to not go the path of others and be the better person. It is my responsibility to reflect the love of Christ in my life. To do no less just is a disappointment to my life’s ministry.
OK off my high horse. I used my sizzix bat die, it is one of the very original dies from Sizzix to cut out the bats. The 3D one is simply held together with E6000 glue and hot glue to keep it in place until it dried. The presentation is simple, I used the scallop envelope die from stampin up. The presentation is not complete yet, but I won’t be posting pictures of them finished, I want that part to be a bit of surprise for those participating in this swap.
Have a great night. Take the high road, even when you know or think you are right about something, some times it is best to just let it go. The Lord will find his way and show you his path. Many blessings. (proverbs Chapter 11 vs. 11-14).

I am so Loretta that you have been struggling with pain but finally have found the answer. It is such a relief to have the pain shift from unbearble to manageable. I sufferred for months with two "frozen shoulders", lots of physio and finaly cortisone did the trick. I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble in the crafty world, takes all kinds to make up this crazy world, Hugz
