Altered bead box for MSC — lots of pictures!
Altered Bead Box
for My Scrap Room
Since I have really loved doing the altered acrylic ladies desk caddies and the cigar box, I went full out on this altered bead box for My Scrap Room’s Swap.
I actually started this box once the partners where posted on Thrusday, I finished it up except for the bottom this evening. It took me nearly 12 hours to complete.
My partner loves pinks, teal and white. Teal is a bit hard to find, so I used accents of teal and goodies inside the box in teal for this swap. The roses are rolled roses from my sizzix die, I am roses and Wild Orchid Crafts.
Since my partner is over seas, I will be finishing this up and mailing it out this week, so I can send it ‘snail mail’ and have it arrive by the deadline.
I had a really wonderful time with this. I first sanded the box with some medium grit sand paper, wipped off the fuzz, and used Aileens E78000 to attach the paper, flowers, trim, etc.
If you have any questions on how I made this project, please contact me via email at Ms.Rhetta@gmail.com. Have a great night, stamp happy and be a blessing!
