If the video doesn’t play above click here for Youtube. I really enjoyed creating these stick pins using the Bitty Box and Envelope from StampinUp. I used some double sided scrapbook paper from my collection. Both the inside and outside of the box are sponged with green ink. The flowers are from Prima and I created the 3D (butterfly in flight) using CG6000 transparencies from 3M.
The embossing powders are from my personal collection as is the lace and green gem on the front. The feet are re-claimed antique beads I found from the thrift store. Most thrift stores have bags of jewelry that are all tangled up for cheap, I think the most I’ve paid for one is $14.00.
I go through them, untangle and sort them all out, I keep what I would like to wear and take some jewelry pliers to the rest. I’ve gotten some nice things and neat beads this way!
Join me for a Squiggle fly new release on March 12, 2011 and next week I hope to do another video tutorial using small glass vials with cork stoppers.
Thanks for joining me today, Stamp happy and be a blessing!
