Another Calendar project — Barb don’t look!
Happy Saturday!
Our home is now “officially” ready for the Christmas Holidays. We have our front lights up around our home and it is very pretty. We even managed to replace a faulty light/sensor at our back door.
One of the local stamp stores, The Queen’s Ink, celebrated their 10th anniversary today. The store was bustling with activities, great sales and new items. Among my purchases I bought some new clear “crown” unmounted stamps, some Tim Holtz edge dies I did not have, plus some fibers and ribbon exclusive to her shop. It was so much fun to see Patti and her royal staff once again. It has been at least four to six months since my last visit there and they are only about 12 miles from our home.
I really did enjoy my visit and it has motivated me even more to start endeavoring on my own journey of Art, Altering and Journey. I have several boxes of old (vintage) photos my mother gave to me shortly after the death of my sister. I will be scanning, and reproducing these photos for use in altered journals, cards and other items.
On another subject, after way too much frustration I have decided to purchase some calendars through Vippies, click here for their web sight. They have the self adhesive calendars from December 2010 through December 2011 with excellent prices, and I don’t have to cut them out, I can just deck them out and decorate them as I wish. They make excellent stocking suffers and are great included in holiday cards, Birthday and other winter Holiday wishes.
I hope you will enjoy the calendar project above, I used a velvet red paper for the front cover and inside back cover. The note pad inside is positioned so that you tear out the used papers from the left hand side. The decorative black and white edge is loose enough to be able to do this without a struggle.
Have a great day, I’ll be doing some Christmas shopping next week and will have to include details on the blog as I do my shopping. Have a great weekend. Stamp Happy and be a blessing.
