Flower swap
Just a quick post to show all of my crafty friends what I have been working on the last few days, besides doing some serious shopping for fall clothing.
If you are a follower on face book you know that my weight is now down 47 pounds. I still have a way to go and with the ongoing neck and shoulder issues that is getting more difficult.
I also visited a stamp store about an hours drive from here, the pictures of some of their projects can be found in a previous post.
This is kinda (maybe not) a funny story about the flowers. I had them for the most part completed, I had placed them in a small cigar box so I could look up the details for mailing.
So, the pretty flowers have since sat in that box for a week. Yes, a week. I couldn’t remember which online-group I had participated in a flower swap this month. This is yet another reason I tell people who swap with me FOLLOW all swap threads in which you are involved with.
Lucky for me yesterday some one bumped the thread and I received an email. I was so grateful. I did some more finishing touches on my flowers and got the display ready. So now it is onto packaging and making a hostess gift.
