What a beautiful mess — and more Christmas projects 2012

It is hard to believe that we are only about 5 weeks from Christmas!

I am beginning my holiday preparations like many other crafter’s with wish lists, shopping lists, and lists for the sake of keeping a list.  Stop the insanity!

So this year in an effort to stay earth friendly, on budget and still have an ounce of holiday cheer, I have decided to make a few things from things I have on hand.  I have not purchased anything new in the last several weeks, taking advantage of pre-sale orders I placed back in September – October and using only what I have on hand.

I have to admit, just like the road to hell is paved with good intentions, so are my Christmas preparations.  I did visit a favorite local store and buy some dies that I am not able to purchase at other venues, but in my defence these are not all Christmas related.

My desk is a hot mess, as you can see above and in the video slide-show below, but sometimes a mess can lead to creativity.  In my case the creative mess needs to be neatly stored away so the next project can take shape and get completed.

If you do not care for Christmas music, Christ centered music, please mute your speakers before playing the video.  Email me at Ms.Rhetta@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

Thanks for stopping by, keep simple your preparations for Christmas simple, please be mindful the reason for Christmas is to celebrate the world’s welcome of our savior, Christ the Lord.

Stamp happy and be a blessing!
