dreams can take you any where Art Journal with progress video
With the magic of Video editing and the fact you can “super” speed up taped footage, I offer for your enjoyment this process video of my latest art journal page lay out “Dreams can take you any where”.
I used my art dolls from Accucut Craft for the mermaid that you see as the focal point of this page. She was cut from medium weight chip board as well as patterned paper from K&Company. The other supplies I already have on hand as part of my “art” journal box.
I really loved the play with the colors and textures. I used bubble wrap for some of the texture. Even though I cut it out of the video, some of the color on the doll herself was done with my pan pastels. Very easy to use, easy to work with and very fun. I am getting better with small simple faces and have ordered a few art-journal type books for inspiration.
Here’s today’s video:
I am also enjoying many youtube video’s of those of you who have been and are still doing art journal pages for yourselves. Keep up the good work, you are all a great inspiration.
The last still picture is just for fun. Like many women, I have days that resemble this little cartoon.
Please think of us tomorrow. Abby will be going into the Fort Meade Vet tomorrow morning to have her spay surgery. Having an animal under general anesthesia makes me nervous. They are more than capable of taking good care of her and I will be only o thankful to have her return home a little worse for wear but healthy.
Have a great week. Stamp happy and always bless others. With Love!
