Artist Trading Cards and a altered tag book with a Video
Today I am sharing with all of you, my friends the ATC ‘s (artist trading cards) that I created for a swap over at the swap bot. Please click here for the website. I personally have not had any incidences of people not fulfilling their obligations to a swap.
If you decide to join us, that would be wonderful. I have received a few really nice things.
For this swap I made the decision to make all of the Artist Trading Cards. For the base, medium weight chipboard was used. Since it is a sturdy sub-surface it takes many different media applications easily.
I used some pages from a magazine (Somerset Studio) as the base for many of the cards. I also used my stamps, stencils and other art supplies to complete them.
The presentation was also important. This swap will be going postal tomorrow and it needed something just a little more special than putting them in sleeves and sending them off.
I used some small 3″ X 4″ zip type baggies to put the individual cards in. Then, using papers from my scrap stash, I made toppers for each of the bags as you can see above.
Every thing is adhered with hot glue. The butterflies are from Stampendous. They were stamped onto Shrinky dinks plastic using Staz On ink.
The images are stamped onto the slick side of the shrink plastic, then turned over and colored on the rough side. Copic markers were used for this process. After the images are trimmed closely they are shrank down using a heat gun. The process is very fast and enjoyable.
I hope you will enjoy the video. Stamp Happy and be a blessing!
…until next time …
