Cigar box before alterations

Today’s project is a masculine cigar box re-do. It can be used for a fancy pen and pencil set or the gentleman could use it as a box for keys or jewelry.

To begin this project I completely sanded off any identifying aspects of the box and sanded down the sides so that they where no longer shiny.

The paper was cut exactly to fit and the edges sanded and sponged. The clock stamp (unknown) is then stamped onto a 2″ scallop of patterned paper.

The patterned paper (from the craft store) is over stamped with the retired office accoutrement from Stampin’ Up!
