** Today’s project is brought to you by the word “Frustration”. I recently purchased this gable box from Sizzix, it is called “Box, carry all” and it is actually a gable box. It is much larger than the ones made by Ellison.
***
The frustration came from the fact I cut this box out like 5 times before getting the glue tabs to cut correctly. Since this paper is double sided, it just seemed I couldn’t get it to come out correctly.
***
A quick how to do this project. Cut the main part of the box out then the bottom, you have to cut two of the main portion to get a complete box. I sponged the edges with Stampin Up’s boardering blue ink. The small scallop circle is a punch from EK Success. Slide the punch up and roughly center it on one of the panels. Then use some acetate or a transparency to cover the opening. I filled the box with small chocolate eggs and paper shreds.
***
The punch is from Stampin up, it is the bird and vine punch. I used scraps of paper to cut out the bird and paper piece it together. The wing is shaded with gray C1 copic ink. The ribbon is attached to the box using small glue dots.

On a side note, I am very proud of my youngest son, Chad. He came forward about breaking a vase in his bathroom. I found pieces of glass on the floor and noticed glass in a vase of flowers. He stood up and took responsibility for his actions.

It is a rainy Maryland day here and it is great for doing some stamping projects. Have a great weekend, Stamp Happy!
