Hello Friends!
To tell you all that I really enjoyed making this page is an understatement. I used my new Lawn Fawn stamps for this video. The are very small and pack some fun color punches.
I wanted the page to stay whimsical so I decided to take out my wiggle eyes and randomly place them throughout the page. My favorite part of the entire page is the use of the hot glue.
It added both texture and dimension. Purposely allowing “spider web” strings added to the effect. I also put some fun music into the video. It was purchased from the iTunes store.
Enjoy the video. Please leave me a comment. Stamp Happy and be a blessing!

For the love of art — Art journal video
Hello friends,
I hope that you will enjoy the video progress of “For the love of art”, mixed media art journal page. It was late last night before I finally got the video to process.
A series of other events caused my video processing program to crash. So long story made short, the video is now up. Edited some what, put in 8 times fast forward and with some fun upbeat music.
If you object to Christian praise music, feel free to mute the sound.
Enjoy the video! Stamp happy and be a blessing!

Author’s note: Due to technical difficulty the video would not save in blogger. After some trial and error, the video is now part of this post.

It took over 3 hours to complete this project. I hope you will enjoy the progress video below. It is speed up 16 times to be sure that I could the video in a decent amount of time.
When you are fusing pieces of shrink plastic you will need some patience. As you will see in the video I did have some difficulty with the first piece that I tried to shrink. If this happens to you then please just keep trying. If all else fails, just begin again.

A video tutorial “How to clean your stamping Acrylic Blocks”
A tutorial with Pictures and a Video on
How to clean your acrylic stamping blocks
If your acrylic block is dirty and stained like the one above first you will need to gather, a baby wipe and some hand sanitizer, or some rubbing alcohol and an old kitchen wash rag.
You will want to put a generous amount of the hand sanitizer onto the block as shown above. Smear it around with your fingers and allow it to set for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This will loosen up any dirt, stains and adhesives that are present.
Now you will use those baby wipes with a firm hand and circular motions to clean off the block, you may have to repeat these steps several times to restore your block to a like new finish. Any adhesive can be scraped away with a blunt object. The block should then be cleaned using fresh baby wipes. You can also take it to your sink and rise it off with warm soap and water.
Another alternative is to do a quick scrub in the sink with soap and water and put your blocks on the top shelf of your dishwasher. Please note, this does not work as well as simply using the baby wipes and hand sanitizer to do the job.
This is not a long or difficult process. It does take patience and is well worth your time.
Here is a video tutorial on how to clean your blocks.
