Artist Trading Cards measure 3 1/2 ” X 2 1/2″. They are fun to create and trade. There are as many different styles of cars as there are people. In my video I show you step by step how to make a Trading card from beginning to end.

Clockwork Owl by Hazel Fisher

Hello my crafty friends!

I created the card above using the Clockwork owl by Hazel Fisher. I must admit at first I couldn’t see the potential of this stamp offered by Queen Kat. The stamp will be available on her fantastic web site.

I took a couple of months off to re-group following some personal family problems that emerged. We are all doing well and by the grace of God we will be better because of our current situation.

I am so happy to be part of such a wonderful Design team. The stamps are whimsical and offer themselves to a variety of uses. The owl reminded me of vigilance. A word we don’t see often these days.

Webster’s offers this definition: vig·i·lance /ˈvɪdʒələns/ Show Spelled[vij-uh-luhns]

noun
1. state or quality of being vigilant; watchfulness: Vigilance is required in the event of treachery.

In a time of economic down turn, uncertainty in the world market economy, we must be vigilant, keep watch and be aware.

Just a quick Sunday Post!

It is a rainy colder Sunday than we have here in Southern Maryland in a while. We need and are thankful for this rain. Our yard is in full bloom.

We have a Camilla bush that we have transplanted three times since we purchased it over 5 years ago. This precious bush hasn’t done well at all. The last time Mike moved it was last spring, and this year, she has more than a dozen beautiful pink blossoms. So pretty.

One last project for Deb’s box. I have been collecting some things for several weeks to send off. The box is 20″ X 10″X10″. It weighs about 25 pounds. I might have gotten a bit carried away with this one.

Hi Friends!

It is the weekend! Don’t you just love down time to play?! I sure do.

I found this adorable butterfly mini basket at my local craft store, it was $1.00 and I had to have it. I used it for my sew crafty April swap. I’ve made two pin cushions one from a box and the other above.

I received my wonderful swap from Vanessa today as well. She sent along some really fun crafty stuff as well.

Sorry about the visual clutter around Lexie, but she had come over to check out what mom was munching on and I couldn’t help but take a picture of our sweet little lady.

My sweet hubby Michael has been working in our yard and getting our planting beds ready. We are expecting some bad weather this weekend and colder, I hope it dosn’t affect our veggies.

I am hoping to keep a garden journal with pictures this year. We’ll see how it goes, I often set my mind to such things and they fall to the way side because of unforseen circumstances.

OK it comes in 12 yummy colors. Here is the best part of this, there are 240 yards on a roll. Yup you read that correctly 240 yards. Now that’s what I call baker’s twine. The cost is $15.00 per roll, US.

Washi tape is $5.00 many of them are two for $5.00. They carry stamps, accessories and much more. Prices are way reasonable. Shipping was also reasonable. I had a blast shopping. What made it even better for me was that the site takes pay pal.

PS– for that “person” who is apparently Jealous of me and my blog, first off jealousy is an ugly emotion. I feel for you. I guess it is like my momma used to say, “if you can not say something nice, say nothing at all”. I hope whom ever you are that you can have a successful life.Lastly, grow up.
