A Zoo of Pom Pom (DIY) Critters

Hello my friends,

I still am struggling to work out the gremlins of my website. I hope that it will resolve soon.

With the kick off of the Shepherd’s Cove hospice craft club tomorrow night I found myself over whelmed and some what burned out. So after finishing up a majority of the items that needed to be completed for the meeting on the 14th of July, I made the decision to sit down and make these adorable little pom pom critters.

I used inexpensive tinsel pom pom’s from Walmart. The bow dies are from https://pinkandmain.com and from AliExpress, https://aliexpress.com . I do not have direct links. I am sure you can easily find similar size bow dies for your own purposes.

I used hot glue and Elmer’s extreme school glue to put these together. I also used a circle punch and google eyes to complete the process. The paper used for the bows and bases is from Doodlebug designs.

I made this adorable stationary box out of papers from the Doodlebug down on the farm collection.

Give away winner and Hospice Valentine gift

ATC, Giveway, Hospice 0

I’m pretty certain this is the most 2 1/2″ X 3 1/2″ cards (basically ATC or Artist Trading card) size cards. The cards are for our local Hospice. Each month volunteers or groups of volunteers make a small craft for the patients in our care. In total, I have created 110 of these cards. There will be a small heart shaped stress ball in each package.

I was reminded of days past when we would make or buy the small valentines for our grade school classmates. Remember how much fun that was? I found the small doily die from Your Next Stamp . I cut these from white and red (Michaels Arts and Crafts type) cardstock. The base layer of the cards was made from Kraft card stock purchased from Hobby Lobby.

The bolsters (fancy pop dots) came from my friend Judy Morrow. Please let her know that you heard about her store and products from me.

Hostess gift share

Hi Friends,

I made this adorable hostess gift for a swap I am in on Your Paper pantry. It is only $12.00 a year to join the group and enjoy some wonderful swaps. I really enjoy the group and swaps. There are some wonderful hostess’ and fun groups to join.

Even if you are a new paper crafter or swapper, there is something you can find to participate in doing. So many new things to learn and experiment with. I am joining the flower swap for the first time, I’ve been a member of the group for over a year and decided to give it a try.

Please pray for our family. I would appreciate you lifting us all up before the Lord. There are many issues at work and all of them need to be taken before his thrown.
